We had friends staying here for just over two weeks, and we arranged to pick them up at 7pm for a meal. I knocked on the door of their rental apartment at 7pm and when they opened it, they said they thought we had forgotten them and given up on us. I asked, “Why? We said we would be here at 7pm” and they replied, “but it is 8pm”.
They had been on the wrong time the whole of their stay. They said that they thought it was odd that there were so few people around when they went for a walk at what they thought was 8am every day but which was actually 7am.
